Bayside Permits is a director-led building surveying practice specialising in commercial developments and premium, architecturally designed residential projects across Victoria.

Led by Luke Curtain, Director and Principal Registered Building Surveyor (BS-U 64116 & IN-U 62102), Bayside Permits advises developers, architects, designers and builders on building approval and compliance requirements, independently and clearly.

 

With 20 years' experience in building surveying and inspection, Luke brings the technical knowledge and practical understanding needed for projects where design, documentation and regulatory requirements need to come together properly.

Rather than simply assessing documentation at the end of the design process, Bayside Permits identifies compliance issues early and sets out clearly what the regulations require.

Director-led from the start

 

Every Bayside Permits project is personally led by Luke.

​

As a Registered Building Surveyor, Luke assesses projects against the National Construction Code, Victorian building legislation and applicable standards, while maintaining the independence required of the statutory building surveying role.​

​

For clients, that means direct access to the practitioner responsible for assessing the project and continuity throughout the building permit process.

​

Luke is supported by a trusted network of contract building inspectors, providing the inspection capability required to support projects through construction and completion.
